Ohayo, Tumblr.

In Japan, we have a series of national holidays that often makes whole one week holiday including regular weekend, from the end of April to the first week of May. We call it Golden Week.

So, Golden Week has started. It’s Showa Day today, the previous emperor’s birthday. (oh, we don’t call him an “emperor”, but English translation is difficult so anyhow..)
Schools and most offices are closed and people enjoy their relaxing late spring.

Well, my life is still more like camping! This photo doesn’t show you a decent holiday breakfast, but I’m enjoying it:)

I think that’s cool how there seems to be an abundance of holidays in Japan, and they last for awhile.
