I live in the central ward in Kobe, and this seagull character is its mascot.

I visited the Oji zoo last night. Every year, they open a part of their property for admission free so people can go through and enjoy viewing these beautiful sakura trees at night.
The blossoms were truly in their full bloom. It was stunning.

But yesterday was such a beautiful Sunday, and there was the Kobe Marathon in the nice weather:)
