Doesn’t Shiba mean medium-sized? And there is a Tosa Inu that is bigger?
Yeah, actually pure-breed shibainu is categorized in *small* dogs.
But there are 5-6 similar but different kinds of nihonken(japanese dog) and so there are many mixed breeds too. Pure shibainu is not big.
Tosa is quite different though.
I think they need a license or notification to own a tosainu.
I haven’t seen any for real. D:

It’s so cool as few Japanese men of his generation wears a ring:)
