Yamatokoriyama city in Nara is the biggest gold-fish farming district in Japan. It’s not developed for tourism, so this neighborhood is simply quiet, surrounded by many many fish farm ponds like the photos I posted yesterday.
Many people grew bitter gourds this summer(and the last summer) in Japan.
You know why?
They are easy and fast to grow, and when those *green curtains* cover the windows, it helps us to use less electricity for air-conditioning.
We have survived, and will manage the future summers without those horrible nuclear power plants.
